I decided to create an animation based on the pandemic of COVID-19. As we were instructed to stay at home, I recorded sound effects from items and surrounding noises in my house (with the help of friends composing the music). The story entails Orla and Arlo entering their dull room which begins the isolation. They start to discover activities and find ways to occupy themselves, creating a colourful and happy environment. I liked the concept of Steampunk as I thought it would give the set a unique approach. In contrast with the modern day pandemic, I thought the outcome turned out effective and eye catching.
